How to Convert CGPA to Percentage in India

Converting CGPA to percentage is a common need for Indian students — whether you're filling out job applications, applying for higher studies abroad, or just want to know your percentage equivalent.

The Standard Formula

Percentage = CGPA × 9.5

This is the most widely used approximation formula in India, recommended by CBSE and followed by many universities.
